Thin Crust Pizza


  • .25 oz. pkt. active dry yeast
  • 1/4 tsp. granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup 110 degree water
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt


  1. Preheat oven with pizza stone to 500℉
  2. Dissolve yeast and sugar in water; allow to rest for 8 minutes
  3. In a separate bowl, combine flour and salt
  4. Pour yeast mixture over flour mixture and mix well with a heavy spoon or stand mixer with dough hook
  5. Turn dough onto a floured surface and knead for 2 minutes
  6. Split dough into two equal portions
  7. Working from the edges to the center, press dough into a 12-in circle
  8. Transfer dough to a floured pizza peel and slide onto the pizza stone
  9. Pre-cook the crust for 3 minutes or until cooked through
  10. Remove crust, spread sauce and top
  11. Bake for 4-5 minutes longer or until cheese begins to brown and edges are golden.
